Artist Biography

CandaceK has lived in WV, DC Metro, the NYC metro, the Dayton, OH area, and in South Florida. A singer and songwriter since the tender age of 2, CandaceK pulls her style from a plethora of inspirations, ranging from Aretha Franklin and Etta James to Dinah Washington, Koko Taylor, and Muddy Waters. A true believer in being true to oneself, her heartfelt lyrics and soulful stylings capture her story, set to song. She is currently working full time as a web developer, but continues to pour out her emotions and create music that tells her story, one song at a time.
